Educators can learn to be resilient, calm, and present for their students and colleagues. Learn about an MHSA-funded project that provides stress management and mindfulness practice training so that teachers can embody the social and emotional skills they want to teach their students. The session will highlight the research-based curriculum, the training model, and selected stress-reduction practices. Learn about a control study measuring the impact of training on perceived stress, burnout, global health, and mindful awareness.
Participants will: 1) learn effective practices for training and supporting educators’ well-being and high performance and 2) practice stress–reduction and mindfulness practices.
