Intensive: Monitoring Students' Complete Mental Wellness: Results from the California Student Wellness Study

Results of the UCSB California Student Wellness Study (120,000 Grades 7-12 students) is presented with an emphasis on the status of students’ affective, psychological, and social well-being. Examples highlight innovative schools that are already conducting universal screening/monitoring in support of student’s flourishing development. Objectives: (1)Recall three ways that SEHS-S responses are associated with positive student development. (2) Identify how the SEHS-S complements current school-based mental wellness activities.
