Anxiety is one of the most frequently encountered complaints and symptom pictures heard by therapists, as well as those who come in contact with students and persons in high stress positions. In addition, trauma survivors report that when they participate in relaxation classes or exercises, they sometimes get retriggered or restimulated rather than being relaxed. Participants will be shown, and be given the opportunity to try, different breathing practices and postures that calm, neutralize and energize rather than retrigger or retraumatize.
