We know that when teens are struggling, they are more likely to turn to their peers than the adults in their lives. How can students help reduce stigma around mental health in order to promote school connectedness and encourage peers to reach out for help? In this workshop, we will:

1. Explore the unique qualities of adolescents that can be channeled into peer support.

2. The factors necessary for a successful peer support program.

3. Examples of successful peer support programs.
