The Equitable Child Framework (ECF) was created to assist educators nationally and internationally seeking to develop or refine a comprehensive system to meet the needs of all their students through the lens of equity. ECF is rooted in social ecological model (SEM) and the various interventions and approaches to the strategies are also rooted in empirical evidence from neuroscience, biology, psychology, and educational best practices. A trapezoid is used to symbolize the ECF. The ECF intentionally separates the academic, behavioral, and SEL domains and provides framework in each domain and tier that is rooted evidence based educational techniques and wellness research. Participants will acquire practical skills and strategies to create more equitable approaches in an educational setting. Participants will explore strategies and best practices that can be replicated.
