K-12 black girls don’t disobey more or commit more serious violations, yet they get harsher penalties than white girls. Black females are the most represented group in higher education, yet they still face unique struggles—feeling overwhelmed, hopeless and academically and emotionally unprepared. They don’t seek help compared to their white counterparts. Learn non-therapeutic tools. Promote and support the social, emotional, and economic development of black females in your community.
