It is a case study of how a district-wide mental health referral and service infrastructure was built over 3 years and what lessons have been learned. The goal for this initiative was to ensure that all students in our district have access to mental health support regardless of their economic or insurance status. The MH system includes therapeutic counseling, risk assessment for suicide and staff support/development.
