The Community 360 Counseling Center is a Student Assistance Program that supports students and families. Students receive mandatory referrals for suspendible offenses. Also, students can be referred through the Student Study Team process for social-emotional needs such as anxiety, depression, school refusal or other stressors. Participants will learn how a Tier II Support can also support Site Counseling and Administration. Discussion of the Brriim Brief Risk Reduction Interview and Intervention Model as a tool for integrating the family into an activated system of support as well and site staff. Participants will learn about Tier II as a bridge back to Tier I or as a process to help identify which students need to move to Tier III in a systematic process.
This program was partially funded by Prop 56 funds as well as Low-Performing Block Grant money.
