The role of school social work (SSW) is a powerful tool when addressing challenges and barriers for students dealing with social and emotional issues in education. The primary goal of the workshop is for participants to acquire understanding of the role of SSW and learn strategies to use this role effectively to build structures within education that will address social and emotional challenges, as well as, advance academic progress.
