Jenn Kinkel has been working with children and families in early care and education programs for the last 24 years. She currently works with students exploring the field of child development and educational studies at Fullerton College. She earned a B.A. from the University of California, Irvine, in Psychology and Social Behavior and her M.A. from Pacific Oaks College, Pasadena, in Human Development. Jenn Kinkel became personally invested in learning more about aspects of adverse childhood experiences after adopting a child through the foster care system in California and observing firsthand the challenges that coincide with trauma.
