Dr. Michael Keller is the Director of Social and Emotional Support in the Laguna Beach Unified School District. He leads school-based mental health teams and coordinates health services for students from TK-12. He has been on the advisory board of Challenge Success since 2021, dedicated to the mission of supporting well-balanced and healthy youth. Michael is a licensed educational psychologist with a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Educational Psychology. He has taught advanced graduate courses on topics ranging from trauma-informed counseling in schools and positive behavior assessment and has presented at national-level conferences on the topics of school-based mental health and social-emotional learning programs. Michael lives in Long Beach with his wife, Allison, who is a school psychologist in Long Beach Unified School District, and two children, Owen and Ainsley.
