As an experienced school nurse, Monica finds great passion in serving the health, wellness, and safety needs of students, staff, and families. From providing direct clinical care and case management, to assisting with trauma care training and teaching mindfulness and yoga, she enjoys each moment and every challenge.
Her educational background includes an MS in Nursing and School Nurse Credential from CSU, Sacramento and BA in Communicative Disorders from the University of Redlands. She received her RN from Yale University, and has additional training as a Certified Health Coach, Behavior Change Specialist, Mindfulness Educator, and RYT-200 hr.
