Sandra is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has worked in a variety of therapeutic settings including community agencies, nonprofit organizations, and educational facilities. Sandra has served adults and children with severe mental health needs utilizing various evidenced based practices to deliver trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, crisis management, social skills, parent education, and family and individual support. Sandra has served as a Clinical Supervisor overseeing intensive programs such as Wraparound and Therapeutic Behavior Services for county contracted agencies. She has worked as part of a Multidisciplinary Team at a Day Treatment School in the Pediatrics Department of the University of California, Irvine where she helped in the development of a middle school social skills curriculum and advised the classroom teams on clinically sound behavioral strategies to help support students' academic success. Additionally, Sandra provides consultation and training both in and outside of the district to other professionals who support individual with mental health needs.
