Sarah Gilberts is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and advocate for student mental health, socio-emotional well-being, equity and accessibility for all students. She received her Master's in Social Work at the University of Southern California. Her career experience includes conducting clinical practice in non-profit organizations in addition to psychiatric social work in a variety of school districts in/around Los Angeles County and internationally as well as conducting private practice in Santa Clarita Valley. She specializes in adolescents and transitional aged youth, adolescent depression and anxiety, prodromal phases of mental illness, dual diagnoses and crisis intervention and response. Currently, Sarah is the District Wellness Coordinator of the William S. Hart Unified School District whereby she contributes to the formation of the wellness initiative and oversees the policy and multidimensional program development of wellness centers throughout 17 schools in the district.
