Dr. Rachel Riedel is an Assistant Professor and registered teacher who has worked in education settings across Australia, New Zealand and the United States. She an interdisciplinary researcher in positive psychology, health education and health promotion. Her research focuses on the development, implementation and evaluation of mental health and wellbeing education programs in school settings. Most notably. Dr. Riedel was a co-author on a mental health education resource that was developed and published as part of a Beeby Fellowship funded by the New Zealand Council for Educational Research. She also has extensive experience in educational leadership, and has served as an Associate Dean of Students and Program Coordinator of undergraduate programs.
