Sarah Slemmons has been a middle school counselor for 6 years where she has implemented a comprehensive school counseling program. Sarah is the 2020 California School Counselor of the Year. She regularly leads site level and district level presentations and trainings. Sarah actively served on the district committee to write the district policies for the CA AB-2246 Suicide Prevention law and facilitates district wide training on suicide prevention. She has presented at her local state conference, CASC.
